Resources

Project 1:

This is our first project that we will be starting for our community garden will be a planter box. It is going to be a teach tool for Scottsdale Neighborhood Arts Place (SNAP) FAN program. FAN is the after school program that Scottsdale Neighborhood Arts Place (SNAP) is starting with the students of Navajo elementary school, just north of Scottsdale Neighborhood Arts Place (SNAP) office. We will be using it to help the students understand gardening basics:

  • Planting
  • growing
  • Maintenance
  • Harvesting
  • Sharing

Starting out with a few of these mobile planter boxes will help protect and allow us to understand how sunshine helps.

To make your own planter box, please feel free to download the plans

Viewing sliding scale plot fees:

Please note this is still needing to be okay-ed by the board before we implement this.
