Anita Kerr

I started drumming in 1967 at the age of 9 and singing since I was 12. My professional singing and drumming performances include various restaurants, private events and local festivals in Honolulu, Hawaii, Washington D.C., The Big Island of Hawaii and now in Arizona. In 2011, I was asked to join an active performing Drum Circle called, “Sisters of the Sacred Heart Beat” on the Big Island of Hawaii and I also drummed in several Rock Bands. In 2017, I started teaching Hand Drumming to children (ages 8-10), which included basic drum techniques and rhythms. Since moving to Arizona in 2018, I now teach Adult Hand Drumming twice weekly.
