Tina Khalil
Tina Khalil, Choreographer/Director
Tina has been the resident Choreographer/Co-Director for MBL & Co. since
2000. She received her Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in Musical
Theatre from Arizona State University, after which she began her journey on
two national tours, appearing as Bob the Tomato in Veggie Tales and D. W. in
Arthur, the latter including a two-week stint at Radio City Music Hall.
Tina performs throughout the valley with various theatre companies. She has
appeared in Bye Bye Birdie (Rose Alvarez --- ariZoni Nomination / MET Best
Actress Award), Rent (Maureen), Cabaret (Fr. Kost/Frenchie),The Music Man
(Alma Hix), and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She also
received an ariZoni nomination for her appearance in Schmulnik's Waltz, one
of her favorites.
When not performing or teaching private voice lessons, Tina teaches first
grade at Camelback Desert School in Scottsdale.
