Rochelle Reea

For more than thirty-three years, Rochelle Reea has been exploring her passion for excellence in movement and mind/body coordination. After studying dance and performing at Temple University and the University of Arizona, she devoted three full time years at the Urbana School for the Alexander Technique to become a certified teacher in 1981.

She also studied the Dart Procedures with Joan and Alex Murray which are based on the work of Dr. Raymond Dart. The Procedures are a developmental sequence of human movement from infancy to uprightness. They are an important part of the understanding and practice of the Alexander Technique.

Rochelle teaches people of many ages, professions, and physical conditions how to regain the proper use of the body, eliminate pain, prevent and recover from injury, and perform at their best. She has developed Movement Mastery Programs for universities, leading massage schools, real estate franchises, spas, and health facilities, and has collaborated successfully with chiropractors, osteopaths, dentists, physical therapists, and weight trainers.

Her special gift is her ability to help others achieve peak performance through the application of the principles and practices of the Alexander Technique. Sales consultants and management teams, professional athletes, martial artists, performance artists, equestrians, health professionals, and public speakers are delighted to discover that Rochelle can guide them to breakthrough levels of performance and joy in movement.
